Gamma Sigma Alpha annually distributes a roster to all inter/national fraternity/sorority headquarters identifying the students within their organizations who affiliated with Gamma Sigma Alpha over the previous academic year. We think membership is something to brag about, so we do this in order for the inter/national groups to brag about their members who put scholarship first!
Delta Delta Delta (Tri Delta) is the sorority that earned top honors, with 135 women recognized with membership into Gamma Sigma Alpha because of their academic achievement during the 2011-2012 academic year. It’s obvious this organization is committed to academics and ‘strives to broaden the intellectual life for their members.” Tri Delta illustrated this by launching one of the first e-learning modules in the fraternal world in 2010. Congrats to Tri Delta, we look forward to seeing the numbers grow next year!
Phi Delta Theta (Phi Delt) receives this recognition on the fraternity side. There were 56 Phi Delta Theta members recognized through membership with Gamma Sigma Alpha this past academic year. The organization has shown a steady growth in affiliating members over the past three years and we thank them for their commitment to the academic success of their members. A Phi Delta Theta mantra is: “We believe that helping others reach their potential gets you closer to reaching your own.” Gamma Sigma Alpha believes this principle is illustrated in the academic success of fraternal chapters.
